A 220km walk through glorious countryside from Barton on Humber in the north to Oakham near the shores of Rutland Water. At least 90% of the way is on footpaths through open countryside. The Way of the Vikings is split into 11 walks and may be walked in one attempt or in stages. Details of public transport and accommodation can be found in the booklet which also contains the comprehensive route description.

IVV credit is available for stages of the walk, for those not wishing to walk the whole route.

The detailed booklet contains the comprehensive route description plus information on travel and accommodation in Lincolnshire. The booklet is priced at £4.00 which also includes your IVV stamp.

A woven cloth is available for purchase by walkers who have completed at least one stage of the walk.
