SEASON 2009
This season is due to commence on the 19th May 2009. Registration sheets will be handed out in March and must be completed and returned by 1st April. The group stage draw will take place in the Mosset Tavern at 7.00pm on the 7th April. All are welcome.
TEAMS
2 groups of 6 teams will contest the Mosset Tavern Champions League Trophy with the top 2 teams from each group competing in a semi final then final playoff. Likewise the bottom 2 teams who will contest for the Plate Winners Trophy.
ENTRY FEE
An entry fee of £35.00 per team which must be paid at registration and the money generated from the sale of the FPDL Lingo Cards, plus the money raised through sponsorship deals will see the league start yet again on a good financial footing
PLAYERS
Teams this year, as normal will field 6 players. Any team failing to field 6 may play with a minimum of 5. This team shall be made up to 6 by the opposing team captain naming a player to play twice. A team fielding 5 or less shall forfeit the match by the score of 11 - 0 (17 - 0)
LEAGUE FORMAT
The playing format is 2 x Triples 701, 3 x Doubles 701 & 6 x Singles 501 best of 3 with all games straight start and double out. The Gallon Leg of 1001will be contested by the players named on the card playing the singles matches but the score will not count towards the result of the match but for a separate prize at the end of the group stage.
RULES
Home captains must text in results of matches on the night of play to the President Billy McKinney using the telephone number on the bottom of the score card. The information required is both sets & legs for & against, any 180’s scored and any high finishes. Any other matters regarding play should be directed to one of the committee members. The summer league flyer issued should resolve most matters that arise
