This is a pictorial history of a typical transformation – typical in so far as no jobs are really typical. You never know what the next one might turn up.
This one had a shed to move, thereby turning a smallish rear garden into a reasonable-sized one; it had a neglected irregular mound in the middle constructed of some shingle, a few paving slabs, some planters, a couple of Belfast sinks, and lots of weeds; it also had an unlovely oil tank and a strange outdoor boiler to disguise, and some aged overgrown climbers to be replaced.
Quite a task ...
Our slideshow demonstrates how we completed the transformation, from eyesore to eye-catching low-maintenance courtyard garden, in about a week.
