About Us

We are a group of people who work as volunteers at the North Norfolk Railway’s Holt site. Our aim is to improve, maintain and develop the site, respecting and restoring all aspects of the Railway’s heritage.

The William Marriot Museum is just one of the attractions onsite.

As well as our railway duties, we also raise funds in order to improve and develop the Station site, helping to maintain the character of the era and preserve where possible, all aspects of a heritage railway.

We operate a small shop, situated on the platform adjacent to the station building. It is stocked with all manner of items from DVDs,Videos and CDs, through to soft and hardback books for young and old. You will also find jigsaws and puzzles to while away the time, should the weather  keep you indoors.

In addition to this, we now operate a well stocked plant stall , located next to the Model Railway near the new picnic area.

So whether you’re out for the day, or here for the week, come for a browse round, we’d like to see you!
