Barrow
Located next to Holker Street the Barrow-in-Furness Travelodge offers convenient and good value accommodation which can be booked up to a year in advance.
For a more luxurious stay the impressive sandstone Abbey House Hotel is located on the outskirts of Barrow.
The recently refurbished Duke of Edinburgh Hotel offers town centre accommodation opposite the recently unveiled statue of Barrow’s most famous sporting son, Emlyn Hughes.
A selection of other Barrow hotels are The Lisdoonie, the Fairway Hotel, Chetwynde Hotel, Glengarth Hotel, and the Victoria Park Hotel.

Dalton & Ulverston
A selection of hotels in the neighbouring towns of Dalton and Ulverston are the Chequers Hotel & Clarence House in Dalton-in-Furness and the Lonsdale House Hotel, Sefton House and The Bay Horse in Ulverston.

The South Lakes
A number of quality hotels are located along the A590 which links Barrow-in-Furness to the M6. The Rusland Pool hotel offers rural accommodation set astride the A590 between Backbarrow and Greenodd. Further east in the village of Backbarrow the Whitewater Hotel and Leisure Club sits on the banks of the river Leven.

Two popular hotels are located in the hamlet of Newby Bridge where Lake Windermere flows into the river Leven, the Newby Bridge Hotel and Swan Hotel.

Around a mile north of Newby Bridge at Lakeside is the Lakeside Hotel which is located next to two of the area’s main tourist attractions, the Aquarium of the Lakes and Windermere Lake Cruises.

On the eastern shore of Windermer you will find the Beech Hill Hotel and the Stores Hall Hotel south of Bowness.

In the picturesque village of Hawkshead at the head of Esthwaite Water you will find the Queens Head Hotel and the  Red Lion Inn.

The most popular tourist destination in the Lake District is the town of Bowness where there are numerous hotels such as the Burnside Hotel, the Burn How and the Old England Hotel.

In the seaside town of Grange-over-Sands in the Cartmel peninsular there are the impressive Netherwood Hotel, Cumbria Grand Hotel, and the Grange Hotel.

A further budget Travelodge is located on the A591 just south of Kendal.
