First he sends this catalogue photo showing the 2nd Series SB-1000. As you see, it would be really difficult to predict what model this is. Gold hardware, two pickups and only three knobs!!

The large control cavity shows this is still an active bass. As the catalogue tells us, the circuit is now called an AFC circuit. What does AFC stand for?
At the time of writing, Xavier's bass is far away in the USA. He says he will write a review once he gets his hands on it!
