Aria SB-1000JT

1) Munehiko Kishi from Nagoya in Japan reports that Aria have just released this special John Taylor edition of the SB-1000 over there. It features black Gotoh hardware specially chosen by Taylor, the bass player with Duran Duran, and Munehiko was one of the very first people to buy this model.

The bridge is a black Gotoh J510B.

The machine heads are Gotoh GB-70s.

Munehiko had the pleasant choice of two basses. He chose the one on the left, preferring the bold grain.

Toward the end of 2005, one of the guitar magazines here in the UK ran a review of the JT. I didn't buy the magazine, preferring to read the article in the supermarket aisle! The bass is expensive, retailing at something like £1499, but the quality is unquestionable.
