My own personal opinion is that twin-necks look completely awesome, but are awkward to play. I once tried out a Rickenbacker twin neck, and found that the guitar neck got in the way of my left wrist. This would severely restrict playability if you play like I do. The angled necks on Jed's instrument would hopefully go a long way to solving this problem, but low Fs and F#s would still require care. I would also imagine that it would be hard setting your strap so that both necks would be at a comfortable height.
A gorgeous instrument nevertheless! Another example with a dark wooden finish recently went for about £600 on eBay UK.
