About Me

I am 52 years old and I live with my wife Sandra and my son Luke. We live in a small village called Wrawby which is near the town of Brigg and is 15 miles / 25km South of the city of Kingston Upon Hull on the East coast of England.
I was first licensed as a Radio Amateur in 1983 and got my full license in 1985 allowing me access to all the Amateur bands and been able to communicate all around the world.
Then in 1988 due to personal circumstances and business commitments I took a break from the hobby, and in 200I moved house after carrying out extensive renovation work and came back to amateur radio in early 2001.
During the summer of 2001 me and my good friend Fred G0 AOJ who is the webmaster for this site set about the task of putting up a 60 foot / 18 meters strumech versatower and antenna system which we completed in September of the same year.

So folks that is a bit about me and my family and hobby of Amateur Radio .
