Who are Amateur Radio Operators?

Amateur Radio Operators or ["HAMS"], come from all walks of life, King Hussein of Jordan was an operator, as is Lord Brian Rix and a number of top American politicians participate.

We have a large number of operators who are disabled, many are unsighted, wheelchair bound and often bedridden and all deserve a mention for their courage in pursuing this hobby sometimes under great difficulty. Here is a list of famous Amateurs (HAMS) collected from various sources.:
