5760 MHz band

Shown below is the transverter for the 5760MHz (6cms) band.

For the LO I use an aged DDK004 oscillator and multiplier which generates a 2807.5Mhz signal from a 116.9792MHz crystal. This is applied to a X2 GaAs Fet multiplier equipped with a "gas pipe" resonator and then on to an elderly DB6NT transverter design (6/1991) from an early Dubus. This is then applied to a Tx and Rx mixer with a 145Mhz IF. The output on Tx is increased in a surplus GaAs Fet amplifier to a final output level of ~3.5 watts, while on receive 2, MGF1302 GasAs fets ahead of the mixer give additional gain and a Noise Figure of ~2.5 - 3dB.

For the antenna I use for /P operation a 60cms offset dish with a rectanglar feed design by G4NNS
