1296MHz, 2320 MHz, 3400 MHz bands

I am equipped for the other microwave bands using a range of homebrew transverters.

Shown below is the transverter for the 3400 MHz band.

For the LO I use a DDK009 oscillator and multiplier which generates a 3255Mhz signal. This is applied to an elderly DB6NT transverter design (7/1991) from an early Dubus. This is then applied to a Tx and Rx mixer with a 145Mhz IF. The output on Tx is increased in a series of 3 surplus GaAs Fet amplifiers to a final output level of ~3 watts, while on receive 2, MGF1302 GasAs fets ahead of the mixer give additional gain and a Noise Figure of ~2.5 - 3dB.

For the antenna I use for /P operation a 60cms offset dish with a rectanglar feed design by G4NNS

Similar set-ups are used on 1296 and 2320MHz
