Daniel Adamson, 1778 - 1832               == Nanny Gibson, 1781 - 1860
Inn-keeper, Grey Horse, Shildon                           had 16 children.
He also operated a horsedrawn passenger coach amid the locomotives
of the Stockton and Darlington Railway.
In 1832 he died and :
"- - - - was buried, complete with a tombstone, in St Andrews Auckland church."
"- - - - It is beside the path to the South door, on the left hand side looking towards the church."
Two lines above citing memoirs of Sally Carter Adamson, Daniel's 5 x g.granddaughter who died at Holmes Chapel in 2011.
