Welcome to the BOROCLIX HEROCLIX LEAGUE

The format for the BOROCLIX LEAGUE is very simple. One Heroclix event each month at Middlesbrough Gamers Club or GameSTUFF will be designated as the League Event for that month. All points scored during the first 3 Swiss Rounds (only the first 3 if there are more than 3 Swiss Rounds) by all players will count towards your league points total. Points collected in 'Finals' WILL NOT be counted towards your League Points Total, nor will points scored in events other than those designated as BOROCLIX LEAGUE EVENTS.

The player with the most points after the DECEMBER LEAGUE EVENT will be declared the League Winner and awarded a special prize and the title "Boroclix Champion 2006", what more could any Heroclix player desire? In the unlikely event of a tie, the player with the most Tournament Wins in BOROCLIX LEAGUE EVENTS shall be declared the winner. If there is still a tie, a playoff match (best of 3) will be used to prolongue the excitement.

A player's opponent will be responsible for checking that the correct points total has been entered for the round in which they competed against a player on their scorecard. If an incorrect score is entered for a round BOTH players will be deducted 50 points from their league points total. If this continues to occur with the same player, they may be elliminated from the league at the Judges discretion.

The majority of the BOROCLIX LEAGUE Events will be 300 point constructed events, but I may just spice it up in the later months to enable the players at the lower end of the league to pull out all the stops. These decisions will be made on a month by month basis. All LE figures available for standard tournament play will continue to be allocated as prizes. All League prizes will be over and above this allocation.

In BOROCLIX LEAGUE match events it will be the responsibility of every player to ensure that they check the points totals of their opponent after the round ends and verify that it is recorded correctly. Random checks will be carried out on scores during and after BOROCLIX LEAGUE matches and in the event that any points are entered correctly both players will be penalised points (50 on the first ocassion, 100 on the second ocassion and 200 and possible ellimination on third or subsequent occasions.

All decisions of the Judge at each BOROCLIX EVENT is final. All decisions regarding league points, league standings and structure are the responsibility of Sean Harte (Primary Judge) and his decisions are final.
