Comments:
- Notes
from original distributor:
- I Loved Weller's
first solo cd/tour. He lost me with Wildwood. Didn't buy another cd of his
until the 04 covers cd. His taste in other's songs is very far reaching
and shows really interesting breadth in what he listens to. Maybe I'll
seed my collection of covers sometime.
Anyway, when he was plugging the covers cd, he did a World Cafe and lo and
behold, he did one of the same songs he did when he was at WXPN to plug
the first cd.....hence the title about Butterflies.
I know the first part cuts in, but as I remember it, that was not a
scheduled thing, like a World Cafe. He just stopped in and they had to
re-arrange programming to shoehorn him in. At any rate, I don't think
either of these circulate much. He talks about the Jam and Style Council
in the early interview segment.
This torrent has the distinction of being the only time a Sister Sledge
song has been performed acoustically on TTD!
