Description
Flowplan is a graphical, flowscheme-based, multi-period simulation and scheduling tool, particularly useful for planning bulk material processing operations, such as in the oil and chemical industries.
You construct a model of your process graphically, using the principal elements offered - tanks act as material stores, processors combine, split or alter materials, and streams transport material between tanks and processors.
You can assign attributes or qualities to material, which can be altered by blending or processing, and view the results in customisable spreadsheets, graphs or reports.
Flowplan uses Microsoft's ActiveX technology to expose objects to a scripting language, VBScript, allowing you to control the mathematics of the model.

You can download Flowplan (free 20-object, 20-interval evaluation edition) here. Download size: 2.81 MB.
When you click on the link above, choose to save the file (fp10.exe) to disk, then run it from your PC. It will self-extract into a directory of your choice (default is your Windows temporary directory). You should then run setup.exe from there to install the program.
To get started using the program, select Help-Tutorial to run a short tutorial, which will introduce you to its features.
Requirements: Microsoft Windows 95 or NT 4.0 (or higher) on Intel (or compatible) processor.
