Strangely Remote by Geoff Anderton
Sorry to say it's me again, having failed to meet the lady of my dreams on holiday I now present the last in this riveting(?) series of articles.
On the multivalue UNITY card ( Fig 1) I have a £10 copy showing UNITY on the reverse ( Fig 2 ) but the £5 version shows IDT ( Fig 3 ) as the service provider.
Fig 1 Fig 2 Fig 3 Fig 4
The next card ( Fig 4) is also a UNITY card, this time the £5 value, for what appear to be identical fronts I have the reverses shown in Fig 5, Fig 6 & Fig 7. For the £5 PARS card ( Fig 8) I also have 2 reverses, Fig 9 & Fig 10.
Fig 5 Fig 6 Fig 7 Fig 8
The £5 CALL MAMA card (Fig 11) also exists with 2 different reverses, but on closer examination ther is also a small difference on the front as shown in Fig 12 & Fig 13, ie the word "TELECOM" or "PREPAID".

The £5 "TT" card ( Fig 14 ) mentioned in the first of these articles has now been found with a fourth different reverse, see Fig 15. The £5 "TELEMASTER" card ( Fig 16 ) has also been found with 2 different reverses, Fig 17 & Fig 18. The £5 "ALPHA BLUE" card ( Fig 19 ) has reverses as Fig 20 & Fig 21.

Last but not least I have a multivalue UNITY card ( Fig 1 ) with the reverse shown in Fig 22 ( ie a mobile top up !! ), but for balance I have an "E" voucher mobile top up card ( Fig 23 ) with a £10 UNITY card reverse, as Fig 2 !!

That's all folks ! by the way Fig 24 is not a remote card, it's the author being slightly remote at closing time in the village pub.
