The following photographs were taken at South Crofty Mine since its closure. The workings are flooded up to Deep Adit Level (around 140 feet below surface), but this has left the workings on North Tincroft Lode still accessible. The owners, Western United Mines, are currently (June 2008) driving crosscuts from the Tuckingmill decline (at the 10 Fathom Level), north and south, to link various shafts for ventilation purposes and to act as starting points to access deeper workings and initate mining operations.
