The Family of Wyndham Cobley
Wyndham Cobley (my father) was born in Deri, Nr Bargoed on the
29 Oct 1910. He lived most of his life in Ystrad Mynach. Wyndham
died 21 Nov 1970 in Caerphilly Miners Hospital, Caerphilly, at 60
years of age.
He married Minnie Gertrude Powell in Tabor Chapel, Maesycwmmer on the
27 Dec 1932.
Minnie was born Quakers Yard 13 June 1909. Minnie was the daughter
of Edwin Thomas Powell and Esther Ann Shortman. She died in Ystrad
Mynach Hospital on the 11 June 1978 at 68 years of age.
Wyndham and Minnie had the following children:
Raymond Malcolm Cobley was born on
31/9/1939. Raymond died in University College Hospital, Cardiff on
6/9/1996
Gerald Cobley was born in Llwynypia Hospital on the 15 June 1947.
