George Powell was born ca 1848 in Brilley, Hereford.
He married Alice Crowe who was born in Douglas, Isle of Man ca 1849, she died in March 1910 in Leeds.
George Powell and Alice Crowe had the following children:
Emma Jane Powell was born 27th July 1873 in Onchan, Isle of Man.
Thomas Henry Powell was born September 1875 in Ulverston.
