DRK (German Red Cross) Leaders Dagger. An identical model is associated with
the Social Welfare organisation, the only discernible difference being the
shape of the scabbard band holes-round-and the hanging straps. Blades are
unmarked.
Bahnschutz (German railway) second model Leaders dagger 1938, complete with
original portepee and deluxe hangers by Carl Eickhorn, the most prolific
manufacturer of these sidearms. Found with both Aluminium and steel based
scabbards.
Crossguard showing the casting imperfections in the right wing of the wheel
emblem of the Bahnschutz, charachteristic of Eickhorn produced pieces. Note
also correct wrap and wearing damage to original portepee.
