operates in a number of areas of St Helens.
The King Academy is taught by two qualified Teachers and has won 5 solo World Championship titles, and a host of National and Regional Titles.

Classes are held in and around St. Helens.
Mondays and Tuesday - Beginners.
Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday - Advanced up to World Championship standard.

serving Bootle, Litherland, and north Liverpool.
Classes are held in St Andrew's Church Hall, St. Andrew's Rd, Bootle.
This is off Linacre Rd / Stanley Rd, opposite Johnsons. not far north of the Bootle Strand area and North Park.
Classes on Tuesday & Friday evenings, 5.30 to 8.30, and on Saturday mornings.

Bernadette Williams has started classes in Irish Step Dancing.

TUESDAYS there is a class 4.00 - 5.00p.m. for children aged 5 to 7 years.
and 5.00 - 6.00 for children aged over Seven.
THURSDAYS there is a CEILI CLASS just for ADULTS 6.30 - 7.30.
This is not for step dancing, but to learn the Irish social dances which are done at ceilis.

The Liverpool School of Irish Dancing
was established in 2007 and is registered with An Commisiuin Le Rinci Gaelacha.
Classes are held in Crosby and Waterloo Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
and from Easter there will also be classes in Kirkby on Saturdays.
Classes are both competition and recreational for children(4yrs +) and adults.

George writes; "We have taken our own show to Eitorf, Germany, and produced it again in The Neptune, Liverpool. Our class has taken part in many shows at the Empire and has made several appearances on T.V., from the BBC's "Question Of Sport" with John Aldridge, to Network American T.V. with Fred Talbot ( the weatherman) We do "Riverdance" style displays for various charities and for private functions."

 The Irish Traditional Music organisation, with its HQ in Monkstown, Dublin, should be another good source. It operates through a network of branches world-wide, including Liverpool and Preston. Click here to visit the site of Preston Comhaltas. http://www.prestoncomhaltas.org.uk/

At these branches there is usually tuition in the social or ceilidh dancing for all, rather than the display costume dancing offered on the rest of this page.
