Don't forget that Glandore Apartments are also OPEN during the winter for short breaks or longer stays. Come and enjoy Scilly without the 'crowds' of the spring, summer and autumn. The wonderful light and winter colour makes the islands a photographer's paradise and many of the ancient sites are much more accessible without having to fight your way through lush vegetation! (Please note that we do close for about a month over Christmas and New Year for family visits)

Contrary to popular belief, the islands do NOT close over winter - the boats are still running (although not the same extensive schedule as in the summer), the pubs are open for food, some of the restaurants have winter opening, the fascinating Isles of Scilly Museum is open, some studios, workshops and galleries (our Glandore Gallery included) open during the winter .... when you're not out walking and enjoying the scenery, there's still plenty to do!

Our apartments are cosy and well equipped - perfect for a short winter break to get away from the hectic pace of mainland life. They are centrally heated, have supplementary electric heating, electric blankets, (hot water bottles if you prefer), all bed linen, towels and electricity included.

We may NOT be the cheapest on the islands but our guests have always complimented us on the apartments - why not come and sample some Glandore hospitality for yourself?
Simply call us on (01720) 422535 to check availability.
