Agapanthus

I paint from life. Usually this entails sitting outside in all sorts of weather. For a couple of weeks in Summer 2005 the weather was not kind and I resorted to painting this agapanthus indoors. I actually used two flower heads for information and combined the images, while still painting directly from life. It did give me a chance to explore the detail a little more closely. I think it would look good in a modern kitchen or bathroom.
