"I cannot remember when people started piling stones into towers. But you now see them all over the islands. There is one rocky shore on St Agnes near the Troytown Maze where there are always lots, including some clever installations. (I think that is the correct term!) The tower in front is a particularly good example. It is difficult to see how it stands. I also like the colours and textures of the stones. It was a very uncomfortable painting position though!"
