This was painted in Carreg Dhu gardens late September 2006 in some rather blustery bright Autumn sunshine.
During the course of painting the wind caught the paper and easel and in an effort to catch both I fell backwards landing on the muddy grass with everything on top of me!
Fortunately I managed to save the painting and the only casualty was my stainless steel flask - squashed flat.
