"Friends Richard and Anne Farr very kindly allowed me to paint this view of their garden overlooking Porthmellon, St Marys in August 2008. Porthmellon is a popular sandy beach which houses the gig sheds and sailing club. When I saw the dinghy with a rainbow sail it made a good focal point for the painting. In the middle distance you can see Newfort Island off Porthloo Beach and Tresco on the horizon."
