This was painted in the Spring of 2007. (See also “Green punt from Newfort Island”, painted at the same time.) Painting at low tide means you have to keep moving as the tide comes in, also Porthloo Beach changes regularly. The sand and rocks are moved about with the weather and tides. It is rarely the same after a storm. You can see Glandore on the skyline. My wife commented that it was the first time I had painted the house without emulsion.
