The static display put on by Glantawe Hawking is designed to show a selection of raptors from around the world. From the diminutive Pallid Scops owl from the East, to the powerful Eagle owl of Europe and Asia. The delicate Kestrel, seen hovering at the side of roadways. The swift Saker falcon, much loved by the Arab falconers and the soaring Ferrouginous hawk of the Americas.
It also allows members of the public to meet these birds close up and personal, to ask questions and receive qualified answers.
