Stourbridge 2007
The Branch are organising a two day trip to Stourbridge on Friday/Saturday 18th and 19th May 2007. The group will be staying at the Station Hotel, Tel. 01384 253418 and will be visiting the glass museums of Stourbridge including Broadfield House and the Red House Glass Cone. Any member wishing to take part in the trip please contact Sandra.
Branch Exhibition 2007
The exhibition committee has been looking for venues in York for the next branch exhibition which is expected to take place near christmas.
CERN
After taking part in a science themed art exhibition at Durham University's Ogden Centre for Fundamenta Physics our member, Dawn Douglas, is one of six participating artists who have been chosen to attend a three day trip to the CERN particle physics laboratories in Switzerland as part of a european arts initiative to promote stronger links between art and science.
