Anne Roxborough

Anne taught herself to engrave in 1988, and was encouraged to join the Guild of Glass Engravers in 1990. Anne became an assessed member of the Guild shortly after. Anne uses a drill for her engraving, which is mainly intaglio work, but is currently is learning to use the copper wheel lathe.

For three years Anne worked on a freelance basis for Cumbria Crystal of Ulverston and has also carried out engraving work for Phoenix Hot Glass Studio and the National Glass Centre, Sunderland. Anne has been teaching at the National Glass Centre.
