Although known as Walpole Lakes and immediately adjoining Walpole Park, we are in fact in South Street, Gosport. If searching by postcode use PO12 1FA. We are virtually opposite the Police Station and The Town Hall, barely 100 yards from Gosport's famous Discovery Centre. Look out for our clubhouse with plentiful car parking immediately adjacent.

Model Multihulls are possibly the most exciting and unpredictable craft on the water at Gosport. We are the first club in the country to run a Multihull series as part of the racing calendar for 2009.

We are racing to the Mini40 class rules which were first introduced in the early 1990’s. However there are quite a few variations of multihull drifting onto the water. More information about the Mini40 rules and photos of member’s boats can be found at: www.my.opera.com/BMMApics

Racing the Multihulls is exciting and although we are competitive the emphasis is always on having fun and sharing ideas and tips.

Our fleet is rapidly expanding and we welcome all newcomers and spectators. Members are very willing to let you have a sail so don’t be shy!

This year’s format will include short fleet races, speed racing and an opportunity to race another skipper’s boat!
