A bus service passes within half a kilometre but a car or other form of transport is strongly recommended in order to visit the many historic buildings and places of interest in the area. There is also a good selection of local real ale pubs.

Kentish Cob Nuts are grown commercially for national consumption and the farm is set in an attractive area of the county and surrounded by fruit orchards.
