SUNDAY : Mass 10 a.m. THURSDAY : Mass 10.30 a.m. At other times as published in the newsletter. More information... Mass is according to the Book of Common Prayer and English Missal, with lessons according to the 3-year lectionary and read from the Authorized Version, hymns from the New English Hymnal and plainsong propers from the English Gradual. The usual setting for the Mass at present is Martin Shaw’s Folk Mass. Gospel and Creed are always sung. In Lent the penitential rite is the BCP Litany; at other times the Asperges or the BCP confession. Out of Lent a Russian litany is usually sung after the Creed. Angelus or Salve are sung after the service. Average number of communicants at 10 a.m. was 55-65 but has recently declined to 45-55 Her Majesty the QUEEN is prayed for by name at every service in this church.
