From the South
Head for Shrewsbury on the A5. Go round the town on the bypass and turn left onto the A458 towards Welshpool. Make sure you have gone round Shrewsbury, otherwise you'll be heading in completely the wrong direction. Leave Welshpool, still on the A458 until it meats the A470 near Dinas Mawddwy. Turn right towards Minllyn and on towards Dolgellau. Where the A487 joins is the Cross Foxes, so go right, and after a mile take the B4416. After about 150 yards the road turns round to the left and you go over a bridge. Turn right after that you'll be in Co.

From the North
Head to the end of the M56, and then on the A5117 until you reach the A55. Turn left, then after 2 miles, turn right on to the A550, and right again after another 2 miles to the A5104. Follow this to the A5 and turn right. After a mile and a half turn right in Druid on to the A494 towards and through Bala. A couple of miles short of Dolgellau turn left on to the B4416 through Brithdir. Follow this for about one mile past the school on the left. Road goes downhill slightly to narrow bridge over the river. Turn left just before the bridge.

You will need to bring bedlinen (or sleeping bags).

The two cottages we have are the Coach House and Plas Hen, and they are part of Torrent Walk Cottages.

Looking at their map, it looks as if the Coach House is on the first road, and Plas Hen on the second road. But I could be mistaken.
