With both the
Shadows and Vorlons withdrawing from the system, both vowing to
return next time, the combatants were reduced two three in number.Earthforce
quickly made its intentions known, by moving on the Centauri held
research station. The ISA too moved against the fan-heads,
intending to seize the jump gate. The Centauri moved to take the
jump gate vacated by their Shadow masters.
On arrival at the research station the
Earth Alliance picket ships find a large sign daubed on the
station - "Gone Fishin'"
Earth Alliance then receive reports
of two vast Amada's of ships gathering at the Centauri held
jumpgate as a powerful ISA fleet attempts to take that which the
Vorlons could not. All available Centauri ships in the
system gather in their path and the stage is set for a
great conflict........................
a lone ISN ships manages to slip onto the
battlefield and prepares for the best TV for many a year.
"
Wednesday night, 7pm (Earth
Sandard Time)
- CENTAURI vs ISA
for the fate of the
Miranda System
- only
on pay for view"
A Victory
destroyer, White Star carrier and six White Stars faced the
biggest Centauri armada since the end of the Narn-Centauri War.
Ilarus, the Centauri godess of luck was smiling on her enemies, as
ship after ship was reduced to motionless weapons
platforms.
They fought
to the bitter end, just the Victory destroyer surviving on the
ISA side, but managing to destory the Octurion flagship as it
tried to escape into hyperspace. The Shadow-teched
Elutarian fled the field, leaving the tally of Centauri ships at
three. The ISA recovered a couple of crewless whitestars
for repair.
