Your hosts John and Barbara, originally from the north west of England will welcome you with typical northern hospitality on your arrival at Greystone Pool, where there is plenty of secure parking space.

The non smoking accommodation consists of standard and ensuite rooms.

Standard double & twin room facilities consist of wash basin, shaver point, remote TV, clock radio alarm, hospitality tray, oscillating fan.

Ensuite room facilities consist of shower, vanity unit, toilet, remote Freeview TV with text, hospitality tray, oscillating fan.

Deluxe ensuite room facilities consist of shower, pedestal basin, toilet, remote Freeview TV with text, DVD-CD player, hospitality tray. This room is at ground level with independent access to the parking area.

Superior ensuite room facilities consist of bath/shower, vanity unit, toilet, remote Freeview TV with text, DVD-CD player, hospitality tray, lounge area with 2 seater leather settee and coffee table, This room is at ground level with independent access to the parking area.

All rooms have double glazing with lovely countryside views. The recently refurbished bathroom for use with standard accommodation has a large shower cubicle.

Arriving by train? John will be only to pleased to meet you at Looe station and chauffeur you to Greystone Pool inclusive in the cost of your accommodation. Return cost to be paid for less than 3 days stay.

Barbara's full English breakfast (see below) will set you up for a good days activity, of which there is plenty to see and do, both locally and farther a field.

Internet From April 2007 free wireless internet is available to all our residents. You are welcome to bring along your laptop and keep in touch with family and friends or your business.

Whatever your taste you will find Greystone Pool is the ideal base to explore Cornwall's host of attractions., especially the now world famous Eden Project a mere 20 minutes drive away.

Breakfast You may indulge yourself with Barbara's full English breakfast or take a simple lite breakfast consisting of :- Orange or apple or cranberry juice, cereal, fruit, toast, tea or fresh coffee. We time everything so that breakfast is cooked and served to you, rather than pre-cook and leave food on warmers. On your arrival, we will always enquire about your preferences, thereby assuring you that you are never served items that you dislike.

What you may need to bring

We provide professional hair dryers on request, on the understanding that should they be returned in an unfit condition, a charge of £25 per hairdryer will be made. The item will then become your property to do with as you wish.

Please note:- For hygienic reasons, we do not provide face cloths or sponges.

For guests arriving by train then we offer free transport from Looe station to Greystone Pool .

Dependant on your length of stay, we also offer the following:-

3 to 4 nights stay. Return transport from Greystone Pool to Looe railway station.

* 5 to 6 nights stay. One free out and return daytime taxi to either Looe or Polperro.

* 7 or more nights stay. Two free out and return daytime taxi's to either Looe or Polperro.

Free trips are must be taken by between 09:00 and 18:30 hours. Bank holiday weekend's Christmas & New year are excluded.

How to find us

From London and the North proceed to the end of the M5 motorway and continue heading for Plymouth along the A38. Proceed along the A38 past Plymouth and cross over the Tamar bridge into Cornwall. Continuing along the A38 you will pass through the villages of Landrake and Tideford. One mile after Tideford you arrive at Trerulefoot roundabout (observe Shell petrol station to the right) At this point turn left onto the A374 signposted Looe and Torpoint. After one and a quarter miles turn right onto the A387 signposted Looe. Continue along the A387 for 6 miles into Looe. On arriving at Looe, cross the river bridge along the A387 signposted Polperro for two and a half miles. Then turn right onto the B3359 signposted Pelynt/Liskeard/St Austell and you will find Greystone Pool Bed & Breakfast just 800 yds on the right.
