W.F.H.G. is a small group of enthusiastic genealogists based in the market town of Walsall in the county of West Midlands, but still refers to the old county name of Staffordshire whenever genealogy is discussed.

However, our membership is not confined to the local area, in fact it covers many counties in the country, and includes members from overseas.
We have a full programme of events each year, which includes guest speakers, visits to local areas of interest, and taking part in various indexing projects, i.e. monumental inscriptions, local census returns, etc.
Our comprehensive library of books relating to genealogy, together with microfiche films, CDs, are available on loan to all members.
