Photography

I like to think that my thirty-five years of taking photographs has given me some insight into what makes a good picture. Technicalities aside, a lot has to do with whether the moment requires discretion or a more direct approach. During the last 6 years I have been mostly working with digital photography, and most of the examples on this site are from this period. Many have been cropped to fit the format of this presentation, and were chosen because they were praised for their lyrical content (I believe that even a still image can tell a story), others are portraits commissioned by the sitters for personal or publicity use, or simply commercial pictures which describe a product or place.

I also print and restore pictures from negatives, slides or prints, prices start at £10 including a 10x8 print, digital archive photo-C.D. and the original returned by registered mail, click here for more information.
