Photo - restoration

Restored photographs make great gifts and greetings cards, and are the ideal supplement to ancestry files and charts. I don't just restore people....pets, vehicles, houses, even pictures of construction sites have been made into interesting presentation pieces. Enlargements, reductions, colour correction, people removed or added, grey hair darkened and wrinkles and paunches can be reduced (this is a popular request with promotional material). Files can be prepared for print and supplied on C.D. or via email, or printed on glossy paper, canvas, or even as a clock, all at affordable prices.
Prints and ultra-portable Photo-C.D's which can be played back in most D.V.D. players, can be made from negatives, transparencies (slides) or prints (even if you local photo printer has refused to do them before), with or without restoration. Videos and slide shows transferred to D.V.D. with confidentiality. Rest assured that great care will be taken with the originals. I have been doing these by hand for years, unlike many who just shove them into a machine, I am a photographer and film maker, and will do the best job I can.

This is a small sample from my personal collection (I'm the one in white). Some of these pictures are details from larger images which have been blown up to show the difference more clearly. The two images on the left were from very poor quality originals. Older black and white pictures, which may be quite faded, often contain more information than colour prints from the 70's and 80's, and make ideal subjects, i have had quite surprising results with stereo photographs and older plates and daguerreotypes etc too. Due to the nature of the content of these images I do not use my customers pictures for promotional purposes.

The costings on the right are given as a guide,based on typical examples upto 10x8. larger images will require more work and are charged at the standard rate of £10 per hour. A digital version of the original, and the repaired version on photo-C.D. returned with the original by registered mail for your peace of mind. Single image - extensive digital renovation. Send your original, and have the colour and contrast adjusted, hairs and dust specks removed, damage from creases scratching and tears repaired, reprinted at a suitable size upto 10x8. A digital version of the original, and the repaired version on photo-C.D. returned with the original by registered mail for your peace of mind. Complete service now only £30 per image, discounts for multiples.
(5 images - extensive repair, reprint, photo-cd, and originals returned - £100)

Single image - photo - manipulation. Send your original, with clear instructions, if possible draw a rough image to show what you would like me to do. People removed or added, groups recomposed, Grey hair waistlines and wrinkles reduced, teeth whitened, and body parts enlarged without pain. Images reprinted at a suitable size upto 10x8. A digital version of the original, and the manipulated version on photo-C.D. returned with the original by registered mail for your peace of mind. Complete service now only £40 per image, discounts for multiples.
