Some of the work completed ready for the 2011 season in order to keep her up to proper Vindo standards. With all the major jobs now completed, she'll remain in impressive condition for years to come.

  After the first pass...another nitromors application and a sanding to go

  All varnish removed. Note original stained colour beneath dorade box

  After sanding starboard side only. Original colour coming back.

The first of 8 coats of Epifanes going on. (Thinned 50% then 25% then 5% etc)

  After 5 coats.

  7 Coats on, windows back in and covers off.

Rudder removal. The nut and thread cleaned off and unscrewed

The steering quadrant. One of the cables to be slackened so it can be raised...

    A willing helper to hold the rudder whilst the quadrant and axle are lifted up to clear the rudder.
