1963 ELVA COURIER Mk. III

GONE TO A GOOD HOME
BUT.....

Thankyou for visiting this..my first attempt at a web page. It is still very rough and ready as I still haven't had time to grasp HTML.....

Just incase you were interested.....

A Short History of the Car

The car is a TROJAN-ELVA Courier Mk III, manufactured during July 1963 according to factory records.

The car was supplied for racing purposes and was, according to ELVA Racing Components, rather special.

It left the factory without interior trim or lights, painted in Imperial Red.

The car was fitted with an MGA 1622cc engine on delivery, but at some stage in its life this was changed to a more powerful MGB 1800cc engine which remains fitted. The engine is, I understand, tuned for racing.

Good luck to the new Owner
