Over the last 6 years Stuart has founded the International Gypsy Guitar Festival. This is the only festival of its kind in the country and is held on the last weekend of July. The project has no commercial sponsors so it is a labor of love but a real highlight for everyone involved.

"Its so rewarding for me to give all the players and patrons of this genre a time and place to meet new friends. Over the years i have had the chance to play with some astonishing players in some of the most unlikely places throughout Europe. I know that without this event these players would never get chance to perform outside of there family environment".
