Following on from the basic chords we now look at the more advanced substitutions and starting to incorporate waking bass lines. This section also looks at the other rhythms used including the Gypsy Bossa Nova, Rumba,Bolero and Waltz. Following this is intros/outros and the tremolos/trills used for rhythmic variation for the accompanying gypsy guitarist.

Solo Guitar

The first main focus is on the technique used by almost all the Gypsy guitarists that improves the volume and tone of all solo lines played. This is a huge benefit allowing the guitarist to gain the very most volume and tone from any acoustic guitar. We also start to develop a good understanding of the repertoire by learning some of the most well known melodies.
