Guitars:-

Favino (1982) Favino (1973) Gibson ES-175 (1957) The Favinos are strung with Argentine 11's (Similar to Silk & Steel and with a wound 3rd) and the Gibson has Flatwound 12's. The guitar action is set up higher to develop a fuller tone and also to take the weight off the right hand technique.

Amplification/ pickups:-

AER Compact 60 Amp. The Favinos have Big tone bridge pickups but at higher volumes the Stimer pickup (1950's previously owned by Matelo Ferre) is blended in to enhance the top end. The Gibson has 2 x PAF pickups.

Picks are usually 2.5mm plus.
