Hello to you all,

 

I would like to thank you very much for a fantastic evening. You all made it very easy for the Dare staff to sit back and relax knowing everything was being taken care of and so professionally.

 

I came into work this morning thinking there won’t be many students in, however to my delight not only were they in, sore feet and think heads, but still in their kilts!

 

Since they enjoyed themselves so much and haven’t been able to stop talking about their ‘Ceilidh experience’ I asked them to give me some feedback – please see below:

Irish Team:

Cheers for the photo. Sure it wouldn't be a night of mischief without the misuse of helium. It was a fantastic night all the same though and I can definitely see meself heading to more Ceilidh nights in future.

Also, kilts are savage.

 

 

 

Scottish:

Food was fantastic, starter, the 2 mains and desert.

And I don't know who the gentlemen was who recited To A Haggis but he was very entertaining.

 

USA team:

Last night was absolutely fantastic!!! I didn't exactly know what to expect with a bunch of game designers at a party like that, but it was a wonderful time. It was great to get to try new food and dances. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

 

Swedish Team:

I loved it. The entire evening was excellent and very fun. It was fun to experience some Scottish culture, with the poem to the haggis (and eating it!), the ceilidh dancing. The band did a great job too and I don't mean just the music, I had never tried Ceilidh dancing before, ever, but their explanations got me to pick it up right away. I must go to another Ceilidh Night!

So yes, please give the staff my thanks for making that evening one of the best I've had in Scotland.
