Old postcard of Sedgebrook, St Lawrence
I have indexed the registers of St. Lawrence from microfilm. Some pages were very poor quality, whether this was the condition of the church register or filming I am not too sure, however I would like to make it clear that I have found at least 3 pages unreadable over a period of time and in particular the year 1748. During transcription of these registers I found that the years 1691, 1745-46, 1815, 1827 & 1834 are missing. The years of 1734-37 are unclear as to which year is which. I am reasonably sure that the missing year 1827 has actually been included in the year 1828 as there are two marriages that actually state 1827 even though they come under 1828. If anyone would like a look up of any of the following names just email me at the address at the bottom of the page and I will do my best. The registers that I have transcribed cover the years April 1665 - November 1836 and are for births, marriages and burials.
