NB: two Thomases died at Ellesmere in Jun 1851 and Dec 1858
just one Thomas that fits was found in the 1861 census, but remembering that two other family marriages 
were to Jones, one of whom was a grocer, makes the visiting Jones's interesting:  
Thomas is not found in 1871 - 91;
The 1901 index has just one Thomas who fits, leaving the question, did the app grocer make good?
