Deep Sky Observations - Cancer

M 44 : Open cluster.

A lovely bright cluster, but the scope just doesn't have a large enough field-of-view to appreciate it. A good binocular object, or even naked eye on a good night.

M 67 : Open cluster.

A pretty little cluster, especially so as it lies in a rather barren part of the sky away from the Milky Way. Around 50+ stars are visible arranged in graceful arcs, set in the soft blue glow of many more stars too faint to see directly.
