Deep Sky Observations - Canes Venatici

M94 : Galaxy.

Extremely bright central region with a large, faint, round halo. Very impressive at high powers, shame there isn't any detail to be seen.

M106 : Galaxy.

An obviously elongated smudge with a very bright nucleus and fainter halo. Another superb Messier galaxy!

M 63 : Galaxy.

A bright (not as bright as M 94 or M 106 though), large, round smudge. Slightly brighter towards the middle. A very good target.
